Well today the post man brought me a fresh batch of LMI white, my favorite all around glue, but this time due to our FREAKIN fozen tundra conditions it was frozen solid. Should this matter? Chris!!! ![]() |

Throw it out, Lance. I had some freeze on the drive west; it wasn't the same and I didn't trust it. Used it for some shelving and furniture repair (the load shifted) but it was nasty. |

Like Rick said, toss it. I wouldn't let my 7 yo son use it for his wood projects. It gets weird when it's been frozen. |

Lance, I'd call Chris and let him know what happened. Perhaps the shipper is responsible. |

Lance, The molecular structure has changed, by that I mean that thae atoms which make up the molecules of the glue have separated and will not recombine to it's original state. LMI should be responsible for sending it to sub zero weather conditions. Make them replace it in a insulated package. It's their responsiblity not yours. walter |

Lance, I'"ve had that happen. You can lay a line of the glue down on something and brush it out. If it dries clear like normal it's OK for use on not so important operations. If it dries with a chalky look to it, just plain toss it. |

My local Titebond Purveyor won't order titebond during the winter months (needs to come by ship from the US), and won't sell it by mail either, because if it drops to freezing, the glue's deader than dead. Even 'just' low close to freezing temps age the glue faster than keeping it at room temp. |

[QUOTE=L. Presnall] I think John Mayes taste-tested it in one of his DVD's...perhaps he's tried it frozen? ![]() Ha! I just watched that DVD yesterday! John, how does it compare to Titebond? I prefer Titebond over PVA, and those two to everything I've ever tasted at work (from Loctite 222 to AVTUR - with taste enhancing FS2 additive!) |

I much prefer Titebond to it, and I vastly prefer hide glue over all the rest. that's my story and I'm sticking to it. |
