This is a cornerless double bass that I am in the process of constructing. I
thought it might be interesting to see how I bend the sides and my mold.
The cornerless design is an old Italian style that is seen in orchestras
throughout the world. They are said to be some of the best sounding basses
of all, having some organ like tones that can lubricate the whole orchestra.
We will see if this lives up to the reputation.

That looks like one manly job!    Very creative use of tools-at-hand. Thanks for posting, Ken. I'd be interested to see updates on how this whole project progresses.
