A note to all you "Weissafobics" on a great book I obtained on our beautiful girl. Some of you may have it, but for those that don't .....The book is "From Harp Guitars to the New Hawaiian Family-Chris J. Knutsen". Although the book has a lot on harp guitars, it has almost as much on the Hawaiian guitars. Kona Hawaiians are in the book and also chapters on Herman Weissenborn. And for you guys interested in building harp guitars, you'll love it. A TON of high quality photos. I find myself going back to this book several times for my Weissy build. There is a lot of history on this little jewel. Hope to be able to show mine soon. My progress is "turtle" slow.
