Jeeze that didn't take long - He just built one for Keith Richards.

And unlike Clapton's guitar Keith took delivery personally and Michael got to meet the rest of the stones too. Wow! That must have been a good day.

Richard's one is Baboon ebony and Adi.
Try'in to make a monkey out of us all eh Hesh

Hey Hesh,

You sure that Guitar was for Keith Richards?? If Greenfield used Baboon Ebony chances are it would have been for Mike Nesmith.

Cheers

Kim

And for my 1000th post....That Greenfield guy, he doesn't work for GIBON Guitars by any chance does he????

If it is the same guy I think I may have seen his work! Yeah, yeah, that's right I have, it was Jumbo with Monkey Pod B&S and Baboon Ebony appointments. Nice axe but the neck had bent like a banana.

Cheers

Kim

I pretty sure it's baboon ebony! There's also osage orangutan, marmoset ebony, macaque makore and black lemur limba!!

If your interested in the supplier Kim it's Silverback Tonewood

Here's a picture of the guy that runs it!
His name, I believe, is Magilla Breakstone
      (No relation I'm sure)

He really knows his different species of trees that's for sure! Be very serious though! He's very business like!

Yea! Yea! You guessed it, There's NO monkey business at Silverback!

This thread is gonna be a real howler!

Hesh,

I noticed that you had Eric Clapton edit your original posting for you. How did you arrange that?
