Wow! That is very cool. I love the checkered patterns in that sweet looking little guitar as well... Notice the Django type bridge! I guess you wouldn't want 180 lbs. of pressure compressing that top, regardless of the glue you use... |

There needs to be more myth and legended generated to this story... something like because the instruments were made from pre-war matches, chances are the matchsticks were made of old growth Adirondack Spruce... ![]() or because he was from England, the matchsticks were from "real" German Spruce... ![]() It is remarkable the time and patience it would take to construct these instruments. |
