I have the six-inch set and they are awesome for neck shaping. The ten-inch
may be a bit big to work the transitions from neck to peg head and neck to
heel, especially if your neck is attached to a body.   That said I usually use
the last inch or two of the file in these areas and the short file is plenty long
enough.

Using the ten inch set and theyre great for working necks. Dont however use them for working tuner slots on a classical....easy to end up with off square slots. How did I find this out...dont ask
