I was wondering if anyone has cut their Taz. Blackwood billets into sets yet from last falls group buy? If so did they behave O.K....were they dry yet? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg,

As a rule of thumb the drying process would be 1" per year. Mind you as a resawn guitar set the process would be a lot quicker as you are dealing with veneer of about .190" or less. Racked out and also weighted and in a humidity controlled room the sets I have done usually take about 8 - 10 weeks to get down to about 12%.
