I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy a tuner that can be installed into a guitar. Thanks |

Artec do a piezo saddle & preamp with a tuner in the preamp. you'll have to cut a BIG soundport for it though, it's HUGE!!! |

There was a new device "making the rounds" a while back consisting of a hand held that slips over the tuner key. It reads pitch and then adjusts the tuner head accordingly. Probably a matter of time before someone ties these devices together and tweaks the tuning "on the fly". Thinking out loud here, seems that Gibson or one of the other majors may already have something like this "on the market" or at least patented. There is a tuner out there that clips onto the headstock to read pitch for manual adjustment. Nelson |

The Intellitouch is the tuner I use and works exceptionally well on the guitar and the banjo. Best gizmo I've used. Ron |

I use a tuning fork, no batteries required. Intellitouch looks good too though. |

This pickup is going into the "prima" guitar I have been finishing and will be used for praise and worship music. I'll try to write up a review when I get the guitar finished and the pickup installed. |

I like to keep things out of my guitar bodies and avoid obstuctions to my "air pump". Would this addition be considered something of value stuck in a handmade instrument..........maybe so, maybe no? Not my cup of tea but good luck Mike White Oak, Texas |

The article in Guitarmaker talks about this device not being suited to an acoustic. |
