Now, what does this have to do with guitar building? Everything. I never heard of this guy before, have only seen this minute plus of video and am astonished at his creative talent. What do you think?

...rest assured, Jean Larivee knows his name.

Watching a few more I see him playing a double-neck Doolin. And he did a performance at the 2004 NAMM... pretty amazing, it's like music oozes out of his whole body, not just the guitar, he becomes part of the instrument.... is that possible?

I met Justin 3 or 4 years ago, I got him into namm for a friend . The frist time we heard him play was in the hotel room, Oh my god! The scary thing is he can sing and is good looking, also really nice! Justin plays a Doolin double neck too. I introduced him to every conection I new, I would have liked to get him but, there are some guys who need a big endorsement deal to help their careers take off
and he was one of those guys!

I get the feeling, he is one those very special guitar players, in that, it probably wouldn’t make
much difference who’s guitar he played. You’d still be tapping your feet, and noddin’ your head to
the beat, and melody. I wouldn’t be surprised if he could take a guitar from Wal-Mart and make it sound good!
What a fine example of true talent, and innovative creativity!

Robert

I really like the new acoustic talent that has been showing up. Websites like youtube make it so that people with talent (not just good agents) actually can get their music out there. Andy Mckee and Justin King are two amazing examples of this.

Youtube is a good outlet for this.   The thing for me is that these guys are amazing to watch and hear, but I don't think I could just listen to them for very long. I'm not real big on most instrumental guitar music anyway, though (which I guess is weird for a wannabe guitar builder).

I wonder if Justin is related to Kaki?
