I just got my first one. What a great looking magazine. Can't wait to get it home and pour over it for an hour or so. Great pictures of those guitars. This "hobby" is gonna ruin me for real work. Between the magazine, books (bought the Romanillos and Bogdanovich books today.), and this forum, I can't get enough. Too much to learn. Not enough time to work. |

That's probably the most exquisite, classiest, cleanest guitars I've ever seen. What a phenomenal piece of work. I didn't see any specs on it for woods used, scale length, etc., but it sure is a thing of beauty. Craig S. |

Billy, in the past Jim Olson had Larry Robinson do his inlay work but now that he has a Fadel CNC, I'm sure he does it all himself. Maybe Paul Woolson knows as he had a recent visit with Jim. Craig, Jim is pretty partial to WRC and EIR for standard material. The body specs are hard to locate, but His SJ's are 15" lower bout, 4-5/8" at the tail and scale is 25.3+/- I believe. Jim does build really awesome guitars and they sound great too. |

What does everyone think about the double neck harp guitar? I get two main thoughts on this; 1. A work of art! 2. An engineering feat well beyond my scope of understanding! I’ve not read the article yet. This is just my first impression by the photos. Also, though I’m not much of a player, still I have to wonder how you play such an instrument? Robert |

Arnt: what type of jig is it? ie, swing for the 'board, swing for a router, sander setup? I've built (need to test, tomorrow probably) Rick Micheletti's version, pretty simple overall, should work a treat. |
