A question for you wood wonks. Anybody know about a wood called Pepeao? A customer is ordering a 12 string & has a photo of a guitar labeled "pepeao wood" that he saved from a website, of course he doesen't remember which one.
He wants the guitar made of this wood. It looks like coco crossed with koa.
I'll try to get a copy of the photo to post.

The word "Pepeao" seems to translate to Rhino in google world. eg "pepeao beetle" is a rhino beetle, so search for rhino wood maybe?

One obscure Ebay association has African Mahogany being dubbed Rhino Wood.

An image would be nice.

Cheers

Kim
