Alright, we own a cat... but we feed all the neighbors dogs!

Here's a dog made right in my shop for a fellow OLF'er

It actually looked almost 3 D when the engraving was done.
I hope you like it!

Paul,

It's fabulous, the best "real-life" representation I've seen.

The engraving really looks great. Not overdone, but the line patterns really convey the sense of fur. It rocks.

I need to get something cool up ASAP....
It's gettin' hot in here!

Hi Paul, Fellow OLF'ers,

Paul did the inlay for me, as you can see it turned out great!

I've created another post titled

       Westi Inlay - Paul Bordeaux

Please take a look, I've included the original photo and a description of the guitar, etc.

Thanks,

Pete

Paul -- that's an impressive likeness to the original photo -- I am in awe!

Did you engrave all those fine lines with a graver?

It's amazing Paul. I don't know how you etch in shell with such preciseness. I personally find it most difficult.

Your talent and skill certainly are reflected to your work.

WOW!

Paul,

Definitely, a real work of art there!

This has got me all giddy now!
I just can’t wait to see the one you’re making for me!

And, I agree with everyone else, you are very talented!

I think's my cheeks are blazing red!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

Hesh- Yes it's engaved.

Ken (Hodges)- you DO have the talent necessary;I suspect what you lack is the time due to all the commisions you're working on!

Anthony- mostly a graver, a few areas with a fine point carbide scribe.

Pete- O.K. you let the ...dog out of the bag. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished project!

Bob- That's what I thought when I purchased a few gravers. Many times it seems to be more patience than anything.

Robert- Your inlay should be complete next week. I forgot about the Easter Holiday.(Road trip)

Thanks again for all the nice comments. The shop is quite busy this year and I only get on here for a few minutes at a time.
The talent here is incredible and I find I often don't give the praise you all deserve.

Sooo.....Here's to you all!
