Hello all,
I am still in the process of going through the planning of my electric/acoustic. I have the neck done and I recieved my beautiful body blank this week. I was wondering what under saddle pickup you recommend. I was going to go with the Fishman acoustic matrix natural 1 but want to know what works well in your experience (for this type of guitar). This is a chambered solid body that is very close to Anderson guitars Crowduster series. I know it I will not get a true (plugged in) acoustic guitar sound because it is not one....I just want to get close as I can with this design if possiable. Let me know your thoughts!

Thanks for any info.

if you favour the sound of the crowdster, why not use a bags like they do?

Actually I have never heard the guitar ......I just used it as an example for the design discription. Just for another bit of info if needed the pickup is going into a premade pinless bridge. The saddle slot has an angle from the horizontal routed in it....which I understand is good for an under saddle pickup.

I've had good results with B-Band pickups.
Though, I've not tried one in the type guitar you are building.
However, it should work.
