Great looking setup you have there Red. What kind of temp gauge do you have there?

I put in an endgraft yesteday, and today's I've cleaned up the sides in preparation for routing the binding channels. This afternoon, I'm going to bend the binding.

Looks like the MAGI are busy these days.

Hi Bill, its a Charmglow remote receiver so I can set it out of the way but still keep an eye on the temp, and you can set the high temp that you want and it will set off an alarm.

I also finished the top......

Holy Schmoly...that's clean work. Beautiful bracework. Man, you're coming along nicely.

Charmglow - thanks for the tip, I'll have to look for it. So far, I've gone through two of those little kitchen thermometers, so I'm in need at the moment.

Talk to you soon.

Bill, what do you do to the thermometers to kill them off?

Lillian...I honestly have no idea. The first one I figured was just a battery. But when I replaced the battery, it wouldn't even come on. I replaced it with a similar one from WalMart. It died today, so I'm going to try the battery in it. If that doesn't work, I'm not going to purchase the same model again, that's for sure.

Perhaps I'm cursed.

No, but there is something going on. Could be you are tweaking the wiring or the dust from all your hard work or it could just be a bad design and should not have been made.

For those of you out there, you know who you are, using a digital thermometer for their bending setup, where did you get the one you like and what's the brand? I too purchase a cheapie. And in the event Bill and I need to go shopping....

Red, do the knobs on your form indicate that you're using bulbs? Nice, clean work on that top. I like your use of your logo "E" as a seam button. Cool!

Hi Carlton, yep, bulbs with a dimmer switch on each bulb so I can control where the heat goes, and as for the "E" that was my son's idea, thanks
