I just got to the point where I'm gluing the bindings of my florentine cutaway. I was going to glue up little standard sized pieces of binding together to make the binding for the cutaway point when it hit me, STOP! The little voice inside me says that won't look right and it will bug me forever.
Where can I get a piece of 3/8"x 3/8"x5" curly koa? Light colored koa.
Where do most of you get the little chunks of wood for florentine cutaway binding?

Colby...
Try Penn State...they have all sorts of small wood blanks for the pen-making hobby/business.
Sorry I don't have a web link, but try to google it.
Just got a catalog a few weeks back (they come with the MCLS Router bit catalog) and there is a ton of different blanks for turning pens.
Good luck.
