I thought I'd be smart an try using Thunderbird for my email. I imported files from OutlookExpress, and because I synchronize my files from my desktop to my notebook every day, I need to relocate the message store files to a folder in the My Documents Folder, instead of the default folder in the Application Data folder. Does anyone know how to do that? I tried looking it up in the Help system, but had no luck finding what I was looking for. I know just enough to be dangerous, and tried one thing, but it didn't work. I'd appreciate any ideas. |

You might try: Tools --> Account Settings --> Server settings At the bottom there's a "Browse" button where you can change the local directory. I don't know if it copies the necessary files or if you have to do it manually... That'd be the first thing I'd try, anyway. |

Thanks, I think I got it right now. That's the place. You do, however, have to do it manually. Took some finageling, but I think I'm OK now. We'll see when I come to work tomorrow, and all my emails are gone. |
