Had a great visit today from Matt Jacobs, aka Mattyeod. Talked shop, laughed a lot and had a great lunch. Very cool person. We were having a great time and then one of my clients came early, so we had to cut our visit short. I think he is in NYC till the 15th so hopefully we can hang out again. I think I convinced him to attend ASIA this year. It looks like he builds some great stuff. Love his headplate truss rod idea. Its simply genius. Here are a couple of photos.
Best, Evan

looks like I finally found someone with less hair than me

I knew it would come up. It is a hollow body made by Chris Forshage. It is based on the Klein guitars and is very cool. It belongs to Joe Giglio one of the top jazz guys in NYC. Great guy!
Best, Evan

Evan you convinced me to go, I signed up today. You forgot to mention the Dominican-Chinese food we had for lunch, only in NY or the dominican republic

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Evan is one heck of a guy. He's also not too shabby with the repair stuff.

No Chris, I don't recall mentioning it there. There was a guy on the Gear Page talking about them and I chimed in somewhere recently.
Best, Evan
