I wanted to recommend Ed Cash's album, Where Were You. You can
sample it on iTunes.

The sounds and lyrics are trememndous if you're into folk/folk-rock type
stuff. There's a cool up-tempo'd combo semi-shuffle that features
acoustic guitar, a few great melodic pieces, a few that almost feel funky
but stay faithful to the albums acoustic nature.

Lyrically, the song, Dear Old Dad is an incredible story about a
daughter who's dad didn't fill his role. It's very thoughtful.

So she's opened her heart to the whole world
Hoping someone will come and ease the pain

But there are also a lot of up beat, joyful tracks, too.

Ed produced & engineered records for Bebo Norman and Dave Barnes.
He's been helping me out with some technique this week, so I wanted to
post the referrence to his stuff as a thank you.

I will have to check it out. I don't know too much about Ed but have heard his names several times since he has worked with some artists I am familiar with.
