Here is my first post-Somogyi guitar, it's an Australian Blackwood/Lutz Spruce 000 with Bloodwood and Ebony details...the box sounds really good, I can't wait to hear this one! Greg |

Greg, man that bloodwood really sets off the blackwood, particularly with the ebony strip. That is a beautiful box. |

Thanks again gents. Todd, I'm glad you like the sound-port, I was a bit hesitant about the whole idea for a while, then it just seemed that the positives outweighed the potential negatives so I tried to make it a "minimalists approach" while still creating something elegant and stylish.... not sure I'm exactly where I want to be but it seems to work. Greg, it's been said but I will repeat..AWESOME!! That is some fine lookin' guitar. My first, awaiting bindings, is the same combo, but the top is from a different tree (I guess the back and sides are as well ). I just love how alive the box is anytime sound gets near it! Shane |

Mighty fine Greg! I've always liked the "warm all over" look of medium to dark wood used in combinations like that. |
