Nice Korina, Peter. I love working with it on both electric and acoustic guitars. I had a half dozen nice vontage Gibson pieces made of Korina that I was forced to sell to make it through my recent layoff. I'm glad that I had them to sell, though. I'm sure I'll miss them in the future. I've only built less than a dozen acoustics with it, but they all sounded great...no matter what top wood was matched with it. Nice work and a beautiful guitar. Peter, what did you use for binding? Looks like ebony but it's hard to tell from the angle of the pics. Great looking guitar! I have a couple of sets of black limba that I got from the Zootman. Looking forward to using it. |
