I am ready to spray finish my first uke. Its build classical style with Spanish heel. Any one have tips on how I hang it to spray. What do you use to cover the sound hole? Thanks |

We use the same technique for hanging our ukes. We hand finish so covering the sound hole is not an issue. The only way I can think of to cover the sound hole is put some double stick tape just inside the hole and see if you fit a small circular piece of paper inside. You can put a finger sized hole in the middle that will allow you to press it in place. The you can lightly place another piece of tape over the finger hole. Sounds screwy but it is the only thing I can think of. Bob |

I don't know about hanging a uke but to blank off the soundhole, many years ago when I sprayed a guitar, (I've Fpd the last 30) I just put a balloon in the guitar blew it up and tied it off, the inflated balloon made a perfect seal and was simply removed with a pin! Colin |
