I am looking for an Okie or someone in the area who teaches luthiery. My brother and I would like to find a class that could be done on weekends if possible. Even Amarillo or even possibly Dallas area.

Oklahoma is very long, having driven it last week. what part are you from?

No, I don't know of any classes anyway.

Why not join us on the OLF and figure it out the hard way like most of us?

I live in SW Oklahoma where there are no trees :(  Although rolling plains have their own beauty. I'm actually working on my first one, but I think taking a class would save me tons of money in trial and error and save me from asking too many dumb questions.

I live in Jones, just east of OKC. I don't give lessons though. I'm not sure of anyone around here that does either.

You could do what I did and pay up the bucks to go for a week with Frank Finocchio or someone else that does regular classes.
