trip to Toronto. Ride home was a breeze. It was great to hook up with Alain and Anthony again and Rod True is super as is Anthony's brother Dave. Of course I can't leave out Anthony's lovely wife Tricia. She is a sweetheart as are his two lovely daughters. Forgot my camera home so will have to wait for the rest of the crew to post some pic's. Lot's of laughs, good food and drinks. Anthony that was a great apple pie you baked.
We also meet Anthony's sister and brother-in-law. Great folks too. Got to try Anthony's new Long guitar. It is a great looking and sounding instrument. Rod's guitar was also very very nice. Yesterday afternoon Alain, Rod and myself went to the 12th fret in Toronto. What an incredible selection of guitars on display. Electric, acoustic, banjos, mando's Dobro's. AL and Rod tried out quite a few including a Lowden, Alberico, Collings, the new custom Taylors, SCGC, and many more. Super nice store. Well the Tommy E. concert was nothing short of spectacular. Even Rosie like him. He lost his voice so didn't do a lot of singing or talking but he had to get his jokes in. After the concert we went back to Anthony's for some refreshments (drinks) and a little bit of jammimg. Tony Karol meet up with us and brought along some of his incredible guitars and two friends of his that were also very good players. Tony is a great plyer too. It was a great weekend indeed and I thank Anthony and his wonderful family for hosting it. We miss you guys already. OK I'll leave some thoughts for the rest of the crew to post.
