Paul, I believe Apple's Quicktime (for Windows or Mac) at Apple will do the job, though you'd need to upgrade the free download to Quicktime Pro, about $30. You can download a free trial for Ultra Mpeg-4. My only experience with these has been with QT, had excellent results, not too painful to use. |

Paul, I just got quicktime pro to convert something using their h.264 codec. It took a 4 gig file to 350mb! And I can't tell the original from the converted. Check it out. |
