I have a customer that wants me to inlay a vine as a soundhole rosette. I have been working for hours trying to draw it. It's the actual vine that I can't get. The leaves shouldn't be any problem. How should I go about trying to draw a skinny circular vine. I have drawn a 1/4" width space for the guidelines of the vines edges. Can this even be done by hand? Is there some kind of user friendly computer software I could get to do it. I haven't officially "got" the order yet, but I sure hate to loose it over this. Any info would be greatly appreciated. |

If you check Andy DePaule's site and go products and then to the matched inlay sets, the first set has a interesting vine soundhole pattern. That might give you an idea of how to do it. |
