I'm fretting my first classical with a split 19th fret as we speak, and I'm curious to see how people dress the soundhole ends of the frets. I don't have an example here to go by. If you have any pictures handy, I'd appreciate it.

After I have the fingerboard glued to the body, I press the half-frets into the FB with a clamp with a bit overhanging the FB's soundhole edge. Then I nip the ends close to the FB edge with the fretwire cutter. To dress the fret ends, I start with a small file and work it roughly flush to the FB edge and start to introduce a rounded bevel. Then I use various grits of sandpaper on a large dowel to finish the bevel and get the fret ends perfectly smooth with the fingerboard. The fret wire is soft enough that the sandpaper can take it down with no problem.
