Does anybody know where I could get my LMI cutter sharpened?

I use those little diamond files to freshen mine up. They are similar to fingernail files but use diamonds as cutters. I just use them to polish the cutting edge and it helps. They are available at most good tool stores that sell router bits.

Keep in mind that you are going to screw up the bearings if you have it ground. I think the best thing to to is grind the "bottom" of it a bit. Keeping in mind that the bottom corners are really all that is ever used. That way the raduis will remain the same and you'll still have a usable tool.
I tried to see if the cnc grinders could take a certain amount off. My thought being that if they could remove .005" from the diameter, my bearings would still work fine, I'd just have to grab a different one. No luck. The sharpeners don't work that way I'm told.

Paul, ISTM that if you do what the Highland article said, you don't change the diameter of the cutter.  You only remove from the inside surface of the bit, restoring the edge, but not touching the outside edge.  Sort of like sharpening a Safe-T Planer cutter.
