Im looking for a source to get custom tuner knobs made for schaller M6 and Gotoh 510's tuners.
I need a set made of Brazilian rosewood with some nice sapwood accents.

Thanks!

Bill Nichols, Lance. He made me a set of bloodwood buttons for my Schallers and they are fine. They are for my current build, so I will be showing them before long.

Thanks Ron, it seem thought that Bill is not taking any new orders for buttons? At least that is what it says on his website.

Hi Lance,

I'm a newb, haven't built yet, but plan to.  Also plan to join the local lutherie club here in N TX, LINT

http://www.lint.org/index2.html

There's a little piece in the 2007 Master Class, scroll way down to the "Show and Tell" part, Dan Fobert showed a jig for producing tuner knobs.  Looked pretty cool, would give you the ability to make them of off cuts to they would MATCH.

This man, Fobert comes up with lots of designs for tooling and instruments, has talent in spades, looks like.

Good luck and thanks for the forum; great bunch here, I've been reading as fast as I can.

Just wanted to bump this one time so you would see the second source for buttons that I posted.
