In another thread dave was mentioning using Cedar of Lebenon as a neck wood does anyone now a supplier here in the US who caries it and/or the scientific name? Thanks |

I think it's botanical name is Cedrus libani[/] - which actually makes it a proper cedar ![]() |

Let's try that again ![]() I think it's botanical name is Cedrus libani - which actually makes it a proper cedar It has a gorgeous smell and I think it would make an interesting back and side wood for an acoustic guitar as well. |

I saw a VERY nice plank of Cedar of lebanon at my local hardwood store.....I didn't buy it because I didn't know it could used for guitars.... |

I have about 200 board feet of it I bought from a sawyer in Oregon. I have no clue where one would go to buy it from a store though... |
