Just got my Woodcraft credit card yesterday so I just purchased the Rikon 14" Deluxe Band saw from Woodcraft today.

Since I will be out of town next weekend, I asked the nice folks down at Woodcraft if they would be willing to give me 10% off today if I purchased the Band Saw. They gave it to me without a problem. Also with my Woodcraft credit card, I was sent a $20.00 coupon which I also took to Woodcraft to use on my purchase. So I got a total of $95.00 off today and will get back about $28.00 more dollars for the 4% that is earned on Woodcraft purchases. This is also 0% interest for 12 months, so I'll be sure to pay it off in 11 or less months to avoid any interest charges.

I was not able to pick up the saw today since they didn't have any in stock, but they are getting a new shipment in this week, so I should hopefully get to play with it later this week. Can't wait to toss out my Harbor Freight band saw and use something that actually does a good job!

Just picked up my band saw today and got it assembled and love it!

It has a sturday fence.
Nice Micro adjust bearing guides (although the one to adjust the bearing behind the blade is a little hard to get to to easily turn)
Nice sturdy table
Quick blade tension relief
Windows for blade tension and tracking.
And what I probably like most is the ability to raise and lower the cutting capacity without having to re-setup the guide bearings. (Had to do this every time with the Harbor Freight saw)
The only thing I wish it had is a brake for the blade after turning off the machine.

Thanks to all who suggested this band saw in previous posts.

I can't wait to get more use out of it!
