Home again, home again...

Thanks for the kind wishes, guys.
We were spared the worst of England's recent weather-woes. All went well, and about the only disappointing thing was not getting to connect with our fine British OLF brethren. Only so much one can pack into a week. Sigh...
However, I got to stroll through Kew gardens, and met a number of fine trees, and a couple of new spruces. (Well, new to me.)
Pictures soon.

Thanks again,

Steve

Steve, glad to hear you had a good trip. I just returned from Scotland last night and made it as far south as Dalton in Northern England for a couple of days.

Man what a summer the U.K. has had! It rained for some period of time everyday while away, fortunately Scotland was spared the heavy stuff the midlands have endured. Though given the Texas heat you probably enjoyed the reprieve.

I look forward to seeing your pictures.

Weather bad or good, the U.K. certainly is a great place to visit!

Amen, brother! Preach on!

As is usual, we didn't pack enough warm clothes. The term summer we've found to be quite relative.
I think, though, that I could learn to relate to their version of summer. Well, actually, yours too.

Steve glad to hear you got home safe and well and that the 'summer' weather we've been having didn't spoil the trip. They're predicting a warm and sunny August for us, now you've gone back, as the jet stream has moved back North again, bringing the high pressure closer to us. You'll just have to come back again.

Thanks again, guys, and Colin, you bet, we will have to come back. Perhaps some time when pounds sterling aren't quite so dear. *ouch!*
We had a grand time, but the exchange rate hammered us pretty hard.
