Phil is Tommy's brother, they have been performing together since around 8 years of age. I once seen them together live in a tiny little regional performing arts centre with only around 150 to 200 other lucky people, what a great couple of hours, it was like kicking back in a lounge room.

I also watched these 2 guys leave full on rock'in Sydney pub gob smacked and silent at 10PM when they finished their rendition of Hotel California, just incredible the both of them.

Thanks for the post Bruce

Cheers

Kim

Phil is Tommy's brother , Bruce.

Fantastic electric guitarist, maybe better than Tommy.

Probably a little known fact but Tommy is also an amazing drummer.

Cheers

Not if you've seen him beat on that Maton in concert.

Yeah, I saw him beating the hell out of his old Maton Triple 0, he even used a drummers wire brush at one point. I hated to see it but it was really cool music.

In another vid he was doing the guitar drumming all over the instrument (percussion), he was even head-butting the microphone in front of him for syncopated sounds off-guitar.

He's a real talented nut. Makes me wonder how many different Maton's he has in his arsenal. It makes me proud for Australia that he continues to play an Australian made instrument.

I like the vids of him on Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour, probably the first I heard of him. I was tipped off by someone on the OLF and glad that happened.

Thanks all for clearing up the PHIL mystery. They do look a bit alike.
