Adam 1:1

In the beginning was the wood yet silence fell over the household. The wood was without void and perfect in every way. And Zac said: "Let there be sound." Zac saw that the wood was good and he separated the light wood from the dark wood. He called the light wood the top and the dark wood he called Back and Sides. And there were fingerboards and bridges and so he had the makings of sweet sounds.

Sounds of saws, sandpaper and chisel could be heard throughout the household and the wood began to take shape. An occasional thump could be heard which rang out from the silence. Smells of glue filled the nostrils of those in the house and brought smiles as of sweet incense to all.

And so it was in the beginning that silence became history. Zac heard these sounds and smelled glue and the mixture he called  "Uke." Now the Uke began to take shape.

Sound familiar??

Zachary, those look to be some nice woods. I suppose we are supposed to guess what they are right?

Top, I guess Sitka
Back and sides, I guess Koa
Fingerboard, I guess Dalbergia Latifolia

Let me know if I win, so I can send my address for the bucket of Lard.......

I bet you build a better guitar than you think, and try really hard on the fretting job, okay?
