So, you have to explain the rosette, that is really cool, and the deoration on the neck. What did use for both. |

Nice...I've got a few solar system/galactic inlay designs drawn, still fiddling with them and dithering about materials choice, though. Question: where are you getting your non-pearl inlay materials? |

Great looking work, Chris. The electric body is really something. Is that maple and walnut? How heavy is it? And if you don't mind me asking, how thick was the maple layer and how thick was the walnut layer? I'm going to be building a couple electrics for my sons, and I'd like to try something other than the usual LP/Strat knock-offs. I won't copy your design, but I might take some inspiration from your approach. One more question --- is there some reason you've decided on only one pickup? I suppose that does simplify the electronics quite a bit. |
