I thought it would be nice to include a koa rosette on my second build as the binding will be curly koa. Thanks to Volcano Guitar Works for sending me some beautiful, highly figured pieces to use.

The "fingerboard" is just a quickie graphic I added in photoshop.

Thanks Gents!

I'm thinking of trying a segmented rosette on the next one. I've got some nicely figured pieces of leopardwood (Roupala brasiliensis) lying around that might work out nice. I just need to make sure the color won't clash with the back/sides I end up useing.

Anyone ever make a leopardwood rosette, i.e. any pics?
