Is there an option in this forum for showing the replies sorted latest first? |

Not that I know of. It bugs me to have to scroll through 58 replies that I have already seen just to read the last one. I hope, like other forums, the replies are posted with the newest one on top to save us time (for those of us obsessed with this place and check in each and every day....you know who you are.....). On the other hand, it is a small price to pay for all this great advice!

The open topic page sorts in order replied with the exception to when someone uses the "post reply" or "quote" button. Then the reply is indented under the post being replied too. Then when you open the topic you see the replys in the order they were posted with no regard to the "quoted or post reply button. |

I know what you mean, but one way around it is to hit the end key when you enter the thread, That will take you to the bottom, immediately, then scroll back to see where you last stopped reading. On multi page threads, which you have read all but the last few posts, make sure you click on the highest little number at the bottom of the page - that will take you directly to that page, rather than having to page through the other pages. Did I mention that there were pages? |

On the new phpBB software, if using the standard defaults... It maxes out at 15 posts per page, which makes it a lot more manageable. From the list of threads, you can click on a link to take you to the last page, or another link clicks directly to the last post of the page. |
