Hmm I listened to the samples and for some obscure reasons i feel the sound lacks something. Maybe because my brain knows the guitar lacks a wood body :)

Hey Hesh,  I saw the Teuffels at the last January NAMM... 
WOW ! ! !  I really like the Tesla model...  very well
made.  The textured finish is really interesting.

      Bird Fish is COOOL! So's the Tesla! The pickups adjust... geesh just about everything adjusts. Well thought out, if not, somewhat unusual.
