Folks, we are lucky to have the very best sponsors here at the OLF...RC Tonewoods
Yesterday I was excited to get a delivery notice in the mail because I knew that meant one thing! My zoot was HERE!!!

This package came ready to survive a minor nuclear holocaust! EIR and Sitka with some (extremely large) snakewood head-plates, kerfing and some bridge blanks, one of which is a particularly tasty piece of BRW!!!

Bob claims the sitka is merely AAA but I'm certain this stuff is being sold as Master Grade elsewhere. Nice even color with lots of silk and the grain lines are nice and straight and so close together, they're almost touching!!!!

The EIR is the most striking I've ever seen and the pores are minimal compared to the craters I had on no.3! It should be a dream to finish!

But don't take my word for it...have a look!

So thank you Bob!

Guys, thanks!

Yep, the Zootman sure knows his stuff!

Billy, it's nice to see that we finally got to see your 'real' face on that avatar! But I've go to ask, isn't sunny Cali a bit hot for a fur coat and a beard???

I have no idea what I'm going to do with the wood... I have a Wenge Baritone in the works and I think no.5 will be Curly Claro Walnut.... or quilted Sapele... or flamed Makore... or...

Wow! Packages from Uncle Bob are better than XMAS morning as a kid.

This time I am not waiting for the mail -- I'm heading off to Buffalo to pick mine up. On pick-up orders -- Bob & Rosie always through in a to die for meal.

That's a grey pinstripe double breasted! It has a back flap so I can easily throw.... stuff... at people!

Give it to ME! I don't accept campaign financing but in this case I'll make an exception!
