Thanks folks for your kind words. I am quite pleased overall with the progress I have made to date. There has been some blood sweat and tears involved particularly with the sides and came close to giving it away at that point. Glad i didn't. I have made lots of error's but managed somehow to cover most of them . I'm busting to get those strings on and strum the first chord. Then No 2

Thanks Craig and Howard. It really is a relief to have the body complete. I'm driving my wife crazy tapping the top and back and the occasional humming into the soundhole.

Finally closed the box on my first instrument. I am relieved that I am on the homeward run after 5 months . I didn't realize the amount of work involved. I am deeply appreciative of all the help and advice provided by the members of this forum 
I really have no idea what it should sound like but hey it's the next best thing to having the strings on.
