Explain to me once again, how the blade is reliably held in place. I know it is the wedge, but with hard pushing how do you asure the blade and wedge will not come loose? |

Seems to be an age-old system that works, but in a word, nothing. The object is to tap the wedge in tightly enough to hold it. Also, sharp blades produce less back pressure. |
