Just a few months apart

This one is a week or so away from singing its first song!

I was able to get the Bridge, headplate and rosette from a matching piece of BRW that Don Williams sent me, THANKS DON! It worked out perfectly!

-------------------------------------

Here is one that went to finish today.
Same deal, LS redwood Coco. Only this one has flamed Koa bindings.

Lance, PLEASE tell me where you got the wood for that second unfinished guitar! That is the wood I had been looking for in a post a few weeks ago and I most definitely want some of it!

Also, on the first guitar, is that poly or nitro?  The shine is unbelieveable!

VERY well done my friend!

Those are simply beautiful.

I would!

Both are beautiful. What kind of binding is on the first one?

Really nice, Lance.  Mighty fine looking Cocobolo on both of them.  Great job.

They both look great, good job!

Hey, you seem to have made a lot of coco guitars lately, are experiencing any alergic reactions or anything nasty?

STUNNING instruments, Lance! Beautiful, clean work.

I'm looking forward to working on my cocobolo set once I've set up a decent dust extraction system.

EnFuego, they are OM shape guitars,

Arnt, not a single symptom yet. I have always wore a paper dust mask, but have recently started using a full respirator just because of the extra protection. I also run my Delta air filter oh high when ever I am sanding it.

Thanks Sam!

That would be automotive urethane correct? Any sign of shrinkage?

I used auto urethane on a guitar once with great results. I only did the sides but it was over four years ago and I recently saw it and it still looked great.

I love cocobolo and those are both good looking guitars. Can't wait to see the newer one under clear.

beautuful!!!

If only I didn't have my workshop in a school where there is NO WAY I could work on coco.........

ah well, I'll just have to look at these beauties and think of what might have been!!

Sweet, Lance. I especially like the binding on the first. I like it because it's
contrasting, but isn't TOO strong.

Lance, I really, really love your work. Some day I would like to own a coco/adi dread Kragenbrink.

Wow Ron! Thanks! That is a high complement!

James, that is some BRW bindings I got from Steve (Colonial) I really like that dark brown stuff too.
