(the book at least)

has reached Ireland after it's Australian and Norwegan travels.......

It arrived yesterday and I'd forgotten all about it's little tour so I was delighted. I'm about 4 chapters in and enjoying it immensely.

I'm not saying who it'll go to when I'm done, so it'll be a nice surprise when it arrives!!

Cool, Cool, Cool Martin.

I know who it should be going to next, but as long as it doesn't leave the continent before Sam Price Gets it, your good to deviate from the list a bit

Have fun Martin

Hey Red, are you on the Book Tour?
If you want on let me know, we can fit you in. Maybe you can get to Wayne's place for a signing of the book

here's an idea: what say if the book gets passed round and you enjoy it you donate a couple of dollars of the Wayne Henderson Foundation? Its all for local kids to get a scholarship with etc.
I've no conection with them apart from being a very happy customer (just cd's etc - not a guitar unfortunately), appologies if this idea has been mentioned in the other book thread, seems like a nice gesture if the book is lent instead of purchased, what do you think?
all the best,
steve

10 years' wait for a guitar. Makes my schedule look positively speedy.

I left a copy of that book with a player outside of Nairobi last year to hand
off to a tourist from Europe and then to be ssnt back home to the States. It
hasn't returned yet, but hopefully will in time.

That 10 year wait is a very deceiving thing with Wayne so don;t compare
your build schedule to his with much rigidity.

Kevin Gallagher/Omega Guitars

well, the OLF copy went back in the post this morning.

A very enjoyable read, but I reckon more for players as an introduction to the Idea of building, than builders themselves.........

Holy Cow, you European's are fast. That's like 3 days for Martin to get it, read it and send it to Sam who has gotten it.

Sam are you as fast at reading as Martin? I'll be back in North America before we know it.

Very cool indeed. 10 people in 8 months, that's very good I think. Just wait till Paul Woolson gets it though, 3 month back log (just teasing you Paul)

You all rock.

If anyone is intetested in hearing one of Wayne Henderson's guitars, check out "Made and Played".  It's  Henderson playing one of his guitars recorded by Richard Scholtz.  It's a completely un-doctored and transparent recording that is about as close to being in the living room with him as you can get on a CD.  The guitar truly is phenomenal (and the playing ain't half bad either  ).
