Hey Craig...great article and what an interesting fellow. Thanks for the heads up.

BTY...with at least 3 of your images shown in the article it is apparent that you are now in the same league as the historically great inlay artists.

Congratulations...well-earned and deserved!

As for Larry, Grit and Harvey, they are all so un-touchable at their current level of work that it just isn't the same playing field! As for Judy she has such a sense of design, and even though her inlays are generally kept to just the headstock, you KNOW when it's a Threet inlay. They are simply elegant, CLEAN, and very easy to look at. They really convey more actual mood per piece than anyone else's in my opinion. The wood and shell mixes she pulls off are incredible. I am just amazingly happy that Chuck even mentioned me...
That article was written before the one on me, and I actually had nothing to do with it.
That said, there is an exciting feeling knowing you have to up the level to try to meet these guys at least half way. Well, in their case maybe quarter way??
I am just trying to figure out what hasn't been done by them already to achieve that!

Thanks Guys. More fish soon, then a VERY special, hopefully cool phoenix.
