The Tree That Owns Itself is a white oak tree, widely assumed to have
legal ownership of itself and of all land within eight feet of its base . . . [/

I know a tree that owns its own truck. It lives just off Madola Road, in Blue Ridge, Georgia:

There is a tree that owns a T-Model along the New River Gorge.  It was owned by one of the mine managers, who had it hauled in by train.  When the mine closed, everything was left in place.  There are even trucks sitting at the ore loading stations, with the doors open where they left to run catch the last train.  Very interesting river rafting trip, if you haven't done it.  Lots of fun.
