His initials are JW and apparently these are some mop letters for a very special guitar. Way to go JW!

Wow John, Now that's what you call dedication. But it must have realy, realy hurt gett'in that MOP inlayed into your finger tips like that. Maybe you could get some picks inlayed into the fingers of your other hand
