I will be working in the Charlotte and Ashville areas for a month or two. If anyone in these areas want to get together to chat about guitar building send me a PM.

Al,

there are a bunch of us near Charlotte. I for one would love to get together. When will you be in the area?

Count me in. I know two builders in Asheville (I'm there quite a bit myself), and there are several of us in the Charlotte area.

Details on when/where you'll be?

Is that in Erwin, TN?

I'm in Charlotte too.  Keep me informed.  October - November are tough months for me, though, since my weekends are spent at the Renaissance Festival from the first weekend in October to the one before Thanksgiving.  You guys could come to the Festival, see the bawdy acts, and watch the Rosewood Guild play Renaissance Elevator Music.

Well you'll be in our backyard then. I'm by there ALL the time, usually taking my motorcycle to get fixed, dang it. My mechanic lives within walking distance of the place.

Wish there was time to have a brief get together if nothing else to shake hands and have a formal introduction.

You are a doer Red...a doer among, um, non-doers.

OK, Mario, how about it...share your travel schedule, lodging, etc., and we'll try and figure out a way to either a) crash your party, or b) bring our own or c) meet you somewhere, shake hands and leave.

What say ye?

Bill

PS: Just which Nascar driver is it you pull for? That can say a lot about a man, you know.

Maybe, just maybe, someone really, really likes his guitars.

I've been a NASCAR fan since around 1973. I like most all drivers... But I wear red and black....

I'll be in High Point from the 12th through the 14th, but the day I'll be at Lowes, so will 180,000 other folks. Not a good time to try to meet up, or crash their party <bg> Best bet to find me will be in Nashville, TN, the week previous.

Love red and black, too. You got good taste Grumpy.

Oh well, maybe next time you're though, or we're in Canada. (Hey, it could happen!)

Enjoy you're time down here, and the race!

Bill
