I can't believe you waited long enough to take pictures before the vacuum started.  Did you have to put a delay on or something.  Did you take a pill to slow down the impulse to clean?

Oh man, I didn't see it on the first pass, but, Hesh, did you realize you had a drawer open too.  I bet you got wood dust in it.  Now you'll have to empty it and vacuum it too.  Oh, nooooo, it was the tape drawer.  You'll be pickin sawdust off the edges of the tape for weeks!

Hey Hesh,

Enquiring minds want to know...

You have coated your sides and the edge of the back with shellac, presumably to help prevent chipout as you cut the binding ledge. However, the central portion of the back does not have shellac in its pores...

...so, do you feel it does not matter to the final finish if some of the wood did not get the same initial shellac treatment, or, are you preparing this BRW guitar for a sunburst?

Dennis
p.s. There are some chips on top of the fire extinguisher. Just wanted to make sure you saw those when you vacuum.

I know you don't like side purflings Hesh, that's why I was begging

It will look great anyway and I'm sure it will sound really great too. Any chance of a sound clip when it's finished?

And I achieved my goal with the first post, to make your laugh

I can't find a spot in my shop that looks as clean as the part of his that had the sawdust all over it.  Mine has sawdust on top of tools too. Among other stuff.

Holy Toledo Batman!!!!  It looks like the Lone Ranger and Tonto got here first!

Hesh - Did you build the jig form plans?  And if so, where can I get my grubby hands on some?

Thanks,

Gee Hesh, somehow I feel responsible for that mess.

Sorry.

Really!

To Hesh, that's a mess, to me, that's practically a hermetically sealed and sterile white room.
