Advice from all you machine experts please. I'm off to buy some new bandsaw blades for my 14" Bench Power, need a new blade for rough cutting out tops and backs and side profiles. What TPI are you all using? I currently run a half inch, 0.015", 24 TPI, would going to the 32 TPI be any improvement.

Colin, Olson 93 1/2 " 6TPI 1/4" Skip Tooth Raker for $8.49 each at Ace Hardware is what I use in my Delta 14" and love 'em. It is capable of sawing solid genuine mahogany neck blanks all day long, just a great little blade. (I knew you'd like the mahogany reference.) Oh and I use it for profiling backs and tops too.

They got six in at my local store if you can't find any.Link to another post on this very subject.... Pics too...Dickey38431.7975810185
