anybody ever work with it? i've heard some compare it to african blackwood in terms of weight and density. allied just put up some sets up for sale,priced like sapele, i figured i cant go wrong. anybody? |

I found the price for it on Todd's site but no pics!! Are there pictures there? If not I guess we got to go to Todd and have him send one! Shane |

o.k so a couple of things for you guys: 1.Mopane at colonialtonewoods OLF special scond row of pics, a pic of Mopane(with the nutorious comparison to african blackwood). 2. Kim, this one's for you mate! this is what happens when you lose bets and your friends are very creative! goo thing i only had to walk around with it for 2 days. 3. when i visited the site they had a pic, the wood looked rather plain, light brown, straight grained... regardless, i ordered two sets. Udi. |
