I am searching to find hopefully from you characters, the following:
For Tele
Great-figure curly maple neck, mortise and tenon, 1 7/8" at nut. solid or lam

For steel string acoustic:
12 and 14 fret necks, mortise-tenon, solid or lam,
paddle head stock (so I am not restricted to Martin Style Head-stocks) 1 7/8" at nut.
Thanks,

Bob, I see these on ebay all the time and they are really reasonable in price.  Do a search for "luthier neck" and you will find them.

Thanks everyone

I have read various publications and viewed DVDs. They are wonderful, but I cannot ask questions as we go from books or DVDs. That why I want a real human (by the way, also a Ryobi 10" table saw). Real human aid and communication at the same time-what a concept.

Thanks for all the great info, as usual, guys.
Query, can I expect the same service and quality of workmanship and wood as I would if I purchased from one of our great vendors.
Any vendors you recommend; any to be avoided like the plague

By other vendors compared to our vendors, I mean the e-bay vendors
